I will be calm once I'm there, just very nervous before the event

I was joking about power dressing....I will be buying a suit because I will feel comfortable wearing something new and smart. I will be buying a nice white crisp shirt and might pick up another one in a colour incase they decide to have a second interview. I honestly don't think I'll get the job and because of this I will be more confident in the interview and be able to big myself up more, if that makes sense....there is no desperation for the job here, I'm just absolutely made up that I got an interview!! :D

ETA: I've already got a list of questions lined up for em :rotfl:

ETA2: I've also got questions lined up for the prefect that's gonna be giving me the school tour :rotfl:

You're in a good place jo. I've got everything crossed for you!

Woke up naturally again, like the feeling of waking up in this way at the weekend.

Like Jo, I'm finding it a) more difficult to switch my brain off and sleep or b) don't need as much sleep? (until the working week starts again that is!)

Last day for FAFFing before we go MAD

Lets be strong if we want to and have a final FAFF!

So 10 AF days for me. I didn't make my target of 12 but 10 is okay-ish.

I've just had some of that thick white toastie bread with lots of peanut butter and a cup of coffee. I'm off out to buy a paper, I might have to swim to the shop with the amount of rain outside.:D

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

  • Morning all

22 AFs for Feb for me please, Fay. Thank you very much for doing our scoring this month, and for your encouragements along the way. Target achieved, but I'm afraid the Lent pledge will not be achieved.

Horrendous week last week, with DD1 (A Levels) and Mr PIR arguing and shouting all week, then involving me. By Friday, I had just had enough and gave into the Friday bells. Anyway, onwards and upwards.

Mr PIR and I felt we needed some 'together' time, so went to the theatre yesterday - to see '1984' - of all the plays we could have chosen, this was probably the most depressing!!!! I really didn't realise it was going to be so hard-going!!!

My March target: 25, please, Shaggy - and thank you so much for scoring for us.

Have a great week everybody and good luck Jo - my interview is the following week and I've got to do lots of reading preparation, when I get some time.

    xx
