Another Praise for NHS.....

Last night in B'ham, my partner's knee gave way and she ended up dislocating her knee and she could not get back up. In the end a passer by tried to locate a police officer, but could not and even though he walked up quite a bit he still returned - so thank you to him as well. I then called 999, and had a paramedic sent out, which came in less than 5 minutes and we ended up going to B'ham A&E (not sure whats it called).
Even though A&E was very busy, my partner was seen straight away, with her knee being 'popped' back in, being x-rayed and having a splint put on. They advised her that she will need to return to see a bone specialist and to have some psysio. In all we were in and out with 2 hours. She was asked to return on Tuesday to see if her knee is okay. Which is very quickly!
All the staff were professional and efficent and even though the NHS does receive a bad name somtimes, in this case we received superb care from the time the paramedics came to leaving the hospital!.
