    Hi jenk,

There are quite a few threads on the motoring board on sat nav, so I'll move your thread over there to see if you can get more replies.

It might also be worth a peek at the Great 'Sat Nav' Hunt on the Shop but don't drop board.

Saw a Medion PNA350 for £150 in Asda, could be a good buy. This model is advertised with TMC(traffic info, will re-route you around problems) in some places which is a good feature, not sure if the one in Asda has TMC, worth checking out as most units with TMC are twice the price.

The best option if you only plan to use it in UK are the TomTom ONE for £220 or the Garmin i3 for £130, the difference between them is the tomtom has touch screen and has a bigger screen.
If you plan to go to europe either the Mio C510E or the Navman 530 on the offer below is about the best at the moment.

TomTom One is a sound buy...although prices are coming down all the time so depending on budget get one with the most features that your likely to use - no good getting one with european mapping if you've never been off our lil island for instance!.

it seems the 510 is the cheapest with speed cameras built in, but yes is does contain tons of stuff you will never use like European maps!

Speed cameras can be downloaded from pocketgpsworld for £2 a month (updated monthly).

I recently got myself a Garmin Nuvi 300...

    nuvi300.jpg

    It cost me £241 delivered.

When looking into which product to buy I found the new tomtom had a few bugs, so I opted for this. Its also a lot slimmer than the tomtom and can be placed in the pocket.

where and what website did you go to for reviews and information?

I found Pocket GPS World a little difficult to navigate (pardon the pun), and very little information on the Tom Toms
