ok firstly hope someone can help, i am posting on behalf of my nan.
18mths ago she had new gutters installed (her house is owned), now shes got leaks in the gutter(ive not seen the leaks or problem myself as yet) well what im trying to ask is that they had 15yr guarentee but on speaking to the people that installed it they have gone bust does this mean she has no guarentee? i think she paid cash for the work, thank you in advance for any help.

The guarantee might be with an insurance company if so your nan should be covered. If it was with the company that has gone out of business, which is the more likely. Then your nan will not be covered and will need to pay for the repairs to her guttering"The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts."
