New Sky Remote??

Hi All,

Quick question for you, my sky remote appears to be on its last legs, some of the buttons (namely play) are really hard to make work. I've seen new ones in tesco etc but am not sure if I am able to buy one of these and have it work straight away?? Is there some sort of programming I need to do or it simply a case of putting in the batteries and aiming it at the tv??
