Getting stuff from sky to other Hard Drive

When I did my parent's one, the new drive was automatically recognised as 1000Gb and automatically deducts the 140Gb reserved space for Anytime etc without needing to set any options.
They have a new Amstrad SkyHD which is less than a month old and that had a WD 320Gb Green drive in it - the disk swap instructions were slightly different to the one's posted for the Thomson SkyHD box - if anything, it was even easier to do... just take your time.
Make sure you have a long thin screwdriver available to undo the screws in the base of the unit which are deeply recessed.
I found that the latest Copy+ Beta did not recognise the recordings on the 320Gb disk but the stable one seemed OK although it didn't like one of the existing TV programmes on the disk although thankfully you can include/exclude individual recordings when you do it.
Assuming it all goes OK and you upgrade successfully, don't forget to donate some money to the author of Copy+ to encourage him to keep up the good work! :T
Thanks

Well today I went for it and managed to get the hard drive out and copied everything over to the Samsung F2. It is all back together and I have jumped from less than 50% to 90% free now. Thanks for all your help - it really is not too hard!
My only difficulty was putting the outer casing back together - but it didn't take too long, probably more by luck than by good judgement.
Thanks particularly to Gavin!!!!0
