Help needed, getting on mains sewage

Hi there we have a cesspit at the minute but it keeps overflowing as it is too smal, we do not have any savings to pay for the work but would like to go onto the mains as they do run past our house at the front, we tried to make a new soak away last year but our land is mostly clay with ony about 4 foot of soil, so this really did not help matters, does anyone know if there is any help available to do this, we get child tax credit but thats it as my husband works, but we have 3 children as well as the inlaws both over 80 and one with terminal cancer living with us, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

i doubt there is any free grants for your situation.
    do you own the house?
if so there is a loan system run by local councils. for peeps who cannot access/afford normal finance/bank loans.
the loan is secured on your property.
    Get some gorm.
