contents insurance

Hi
My daughter is at Uni and has had to move halls or residence for the summer. She is only in these until 2nd September, does anyone know where I can get short term contents insurance for her? Thanks

Some insurers actual cover kids stuff at uni under your normal home policy. Check your current cover before shopping around.

Good call Astaroth. This option, if available, is usually the best by far.

Also, I'm not sure if this will help, but when I was at uni Endsleigh insurance was the main one everyone used, they seemed to specialise in students. I have no idea of how competitive they were compared to others though as back then I had not yet seen the 'moneysaving' light! :o

As previous post - Endsleigh appears to be the real specialist on Uni related contents Insce.

Cancelled the one for my son when I found my new M&S policy covered him whilst away from home. . But am in the process of looking round to re-instate something for him - as he's just finished at Uni. Despite he is still living in the same London flat - initial quotes are significantly higher than for Endsleigh - despite same content insured / same address. Suggesting - they're not bad value despite the lack of obvious competition?
