                    Hi everyone,
I'm just wondering what the rules are about medical appointmnets (i.e. dentist) and doctors while you're on New Deal?
I went to the doctors on Friday as have been suffering bad earache, itchy ears and muffled hearing! Was diagnosed with an ear infection, so have been prescribed some Otomize Ear Spray, and 500mg Amoxicillin. I go back to see my doctor in 10 days time, he said he's hoping the medication will clear it up, but if not i may be reffered to an ENT (ear, nose and throat specialist).
Also finally have my letter through from the dentist, and have got two appointments coming up in March to have my wisdom teeth removed. I have been on a 6 month waiting list, as am having sedation. They're both on Tuesday afternoons, as i see a phobic friendly dentist due to my phobia of them - she only works Tuesday afternoons.
I know they send you on alot of courses on this New Deal thing, but can i actually attend these medical appointments or not?
The reason i ask, is alot of the jobs i've been for interviews for have said that they can work around this. I'm now just waiting for replied from them.
Am hoping to be in employment before i get sent on any New Deal courses, but thought i'd ask what the rules are just in case!
