If you are trying to create and maintain a fashionable brand that people are willing to pay a premium price for, the last thing you are going to do is make sizes that allow fat people to wear your clothes.

    A size 10 is fat????????

    Fr*gg*ng hell!

Sorry to disappoint the "bodybeautiful" fascists out there, but I have a size 14 morgan t-shirt.

It was dear, but I bought it in 1999, and it's still going strong!

I liked the clothes in Morgan - and I'm a size 6-8 and I'm not apologising!!I also don't wish to dress in Primark or New Look clothes when I want to buy things that will last longer then one season. Morgan had a good range of clothes and it's a shame they've gone.........and I need new clothes :(
No I don't think 14 is large. A T-shirt to last 6 years is good going though ;)

If that's the case then good riddance. Nothing wrong with being a natural size 8 but if you're a 14 (which in my book is more attractive anyway) why should you be made to feel bad?
I wonder if they objected to disabled or ugly people wearing their brand ;)
    Can I help?

I love Morgan, but I am size 16 iro tops, so could never ever squeeze into one, but only size 10 for jeans etc, so I have bought loads of good items in the sale and once not in the sale!!! That was frivilous though!!! but as a one of it felt good!!

Likewise, why should smaller sizes be made to feel bad for being small? We dont complain about the plus size sections in stores or the plus size only shops! Whats wrong with small size only stores?
Seriously, I hear the "larger" people make comments.... "must be anoxeric" "look at the size of her makes me sick to my stomach". If I walked around saying "look at her, must be obsesse and eats like a pig" or "look at the size of her makes me sick to my stomach" (which as it happens, I don't). I'd get beaten to a pulp and frowned up on for being so... weightest. Its reverse weightism thats what it is. Everyone should be happy with what they have and not judge others.

The one locally here is still trading - only a small sign in the window says cash & cheques only - no credit cards; so someone is trying to get a bit of cash for the merchandise, wonder if the landlord is going to get their rent paid!
  • im sooo gutted....nvm i suppose, when there is a sale (hopefully) im going to try to make the most out of it, as for the buying things from new-look and other shops like that i do get things from there but i like to get something from morgan as a treat if i have enought money, lol. i suppose i will just have to convert to jane norman and oasis:confused:

also i agree with Diminutive, not everyones the same size/shape. maybe morgan make clothes in smaller sizes because there are more shops that make clothes in bigger sizes, like if etam was closeing down people would not be calling it because it stores bigger sizes
