Hello yes we have a final plan salary.
I wish I was getting enough redundancy to pay tax on, but I will be under the £30,000 tax threshold.
We have an AVC scheme that runs with our pension, when I had my pension quote I had near enough the exact amount in My AVC pot as my lump sum will be, I think I had £58 left over.
Hello I had another thought about this last night.
The other person I am meant to be on an equal level to has been at the company for 18 years, started when he was 16,he's about 34 now, so according to my reckoning he has about 14.5 weeks x 380 = £5510 statutory redundancy pay coming.
He's on About £28000/ year salary.
Which gives him an ex-gratia payment of £22490.
I have been at the company for 29 years, I am 57 years old, I think I should have 28 weeks x £380 = £10,640 statutory redundancy pay.
My salary is £25000.
Which gives me an ex-gratia payment of £14360.
When I look at it this way it does annoy me that they can get away with it.
