Tracks Missing from iTunes

Hopefully someone can help me out with this.
I have an album that was bought from iStore quite a while ago. It has 14 tracks but when I add the folder to iTunes only 12 tracks appear in the library (track 7 and 12 are missing).
I have checked the original folder in 'my music' that I am adding to iTunes and all 14 tracks are there. For some reason tracks 7 and 12 are not showing in the iTunes library. I have tried removing the album from the library and adding them again but still no success. I tried adding the files one by one and still it doesn't work. I have checked the iTunes Media/Music folder and all 14 tracks are there.
Any suggestions.

are you sure they are miss? Itunes has a nasty habit of putting odd tracks in places just because the track info is different to the rest of the tracks. particualarly with tracks featuring another artist, or the artist did a song with another artist and they have had the rights to put on their album. Like Rihannas good girl album the last track artist is Maroon 5, and Itunes dumps it as a separate place. Various artist ablums ar worse they can be scattered all over the whole music list,Survey earnings total 2009 £417, 2010 £875, 2011 £5740

The album is Guns n' Roses 'Chinese Democracy' and all 14 tracks were bought from iStore (on a previous laptop). I have checked through the library and there were no signs of Track 7 and 12 elsewhere. The files are aac protected and only show the track title - how do I check the album and artist are correct?0

Look in your "Recently Added" playlist.0

I don't have a Recently Added playlist. This time when I have deleted the files and added them again to the library only the 12 tracks have appeared in the iTunes Media/Music folder. Track 7 and 12 are missing.0

if you are using itunes you should have a "recently added" playlist - it's there by default. have you tried just opening the missing tracks to check they play ok? (ie double click or right click and open with iTunes)0

There isn't a Recently Added [playlist - iTunes is used by my wife and i'm only using it to spend iTunes vouchers.
I have tried opening the 2 tracks with iTunes and nothing happens. When I try opening them with Quick Time the 2 tracks that are missing don't open but the other tracks in the album do. I assume there is something wrong with the two tracks. Any suggestions?0 -
I have managed to sort the problem out. I found the original back up disc I made when I bought the album from iStore. After importing it all 14 tracks are now working correctly. I have now managed to burn them to a disc so I can import them into Windows Media Player and then puth them on to my own mp3 player.
I really don't like iTunes as any time I use it it never seems to run smoothly. Can't see me ever buying an iPod for that reason.
Thanks for all the replies.0 -
Well I would choose Itunes over Nokia Ovi anyday, except when Nokia are just giving music awaySurvey earnings total 2009 £417, 2010 £875, 2011 £5740
