freesat on computer

I have an Apple iMac on my desk. Next to it sits an elderly small television connected to a freesat box (and dish) and sometimes to a video player. I was thinking I might replace the TV with a flat screen as it would be less bulky and then I thought maybe I don't need the TV and can watch freesat or video on my computer screen. I don't particularly want to record TV programmes and already have a licence so no problem there.
Can I do this, and if so what do I need, and is it complicated?

Depends on the video out connectors on the Freesat box. You could look at purchasing a USB video capture card.Never Knowingly Understood.
