HI: Benefitted from a lot of posts so heres my contribution, although i think it may be a referral so i will put proper details ont he referral board. Avon are doing an offer where;
"All your customers need to do to qualify for a dvd player from comet is spend £15 or more on Anew in Brochure 5".
You buy the anew item from an avon rep take the voucher they give you + £20 to comet and collect your dvd player. This means you get a dvd player + a £15 cream all for only £35. I will donate 50% OF MY profits to the tsunami appeal. I have a feeling this wil be a little like the mobile phone promotion where Avon find themselves overwhelmed by the offer!
I will put this on the referral board so if anyone wants it they can contact me through the referral board link.
EDITED TO CHANGE TITLE TO BE MORE SPECIFIC.

Agreed. I also wouldnt trust Avon after the mobile phone fiasco
No longer a user, goodbye folks. PLEASE delete my account. Thank you0 -
Would also like to point out that the dvd player you get is normally £29.99 so your only saving a tenner, then add in the £15 you have to pay for the cream what your actually getting is some cream for £5 and the dvd player
so probably better to find a cheap one somewhere else if you're interested in a cheapie one0 -
I have only just been given brochure no. 3 by my Avon lady. How could I get hold of no. 5 ? Can anyone help ?
Thanks.0 -
LOL well Shaz I've only JUST been given brochure 5 yesterday!!! Anyway there was a note attached saying that they've negotiated a better price of £16.99 for the Proline 1100 DVD player (plus the £15 Anew spend of course).
Does anyone know if the DVD palyer is any good though?? I may be interested, as I had no probs with the phone offer, just had to wait a bit!

I paid £130 about 2 years ago for a proline 2000 dvd player from comet, it was extremely fussy about which media it would decide to play and packed up just after the guarantee ran out, I am not sure if they have solved this problem with the newer players but you cannot expect great results for that kind of money.

The DVD player has actually been reduced in-store by Comet to £24.99 without a voucher,so its a choice of whether you really want to spend £15 on Avon products to gain £8 off your purchase.0
