Hi My phone went down on Sunday, following a violent storm. Phoned BT, engineer came today, apparently my BT box had blown, the master socket one. Anyway he changed the box and everythings fine now. I actually have a good story about bt engineer, had prob for ages with buzzing on line so eventually call bt after having changed my phone a couple of times...he arrived within minutes of me calling worked out within 10 mins that it was due to sky connection and if I took that off line was clear as a bell.........should have charged but sorted it out so did not have too....very nice man.
