Sorry if this was already posted, I couldn't see it on a quick look through but thought some of you might be interested in this. I cannot imagine ever being this organised! Also, what does she do if she or someone else in the family just doesn't fancy what she's planned for that day? It also looks as if she has a whole year's worth of food in her massive pantry and freezer lol!

WHEW!!!!!
I understand her point in doing this - but..."life happens" and I dont honestly think its realistic to plan THAT far ahead in THAT great detail...
Life happens - and people get ill/people get busy/basic foodstuffs may become rather dearer or cheaper/who knows what may happen?
Personally - I think its reasonably realistic to plan in such a detailed way for, say, one month ahead. To plan THAT far ahead in such detail - well...I personally think thats just a tad "anal". I fully understand WHY someone would do so - but have learnt, unfortunately, that things dont fall that neatly in line like that.
Personally - I take the view that food items will come and go and may be in short supply at one time and huge amounts at another time and I will just look at what I have available at that moment in time and plan with that. A plan that detailed doesnt even allow for the "nice stuff" - like a friend handing you some food surplus here or giving you an invite to dinner there...0 -

Maybe I could (never tried!:p) but really, what's the point, when she's planned a year of crap? If you're going to meal plan, do it to minimise food wastage and to make sure you're getting a varied and balanced diet. Don't plan for the sake of it.0 -
Hamburger Helper is a line of packaged food products primarily consisting of boxed pasta bundled with a packet or packets of powdered sauce/seasonings. The contents of each box are combined with browned hamburger meat, water and milk to create a complete dish. The product line also features products with other starches such as rice or potatoes instead of pasta.what is "hamburger helper"???

She'll find it easier to cook her year's menu if she put her son down on the floor whilst chopping! :rotfl:There are times when parenthood seems nothing but feeding the mouth that bites you Peter De VriesDebt free by 40 (27/11/2016)0
