    So, what we are saying then is that if one just wants to (legally) maximise the bottom line either way (and the GP is willing to issue certificates then)....

    Take most of the 28 days before appealing

    String out the appeal process as long as possible

    That way, should you ultimately lose, you get at least assessment rate for as long as possible.

    Obviously if you win it is all backdated to when it was stopped anyway.

    Don't think much of the system but you can't change it all on your own!
