Warning! Don't order small valuable goods from dixons.co.uk!!

Just a warning to those thinking of ordering from dixons.co.uk. They use DHL, who have managed to loose the ipod touch I ordered on christmas day, not once but TWICE!!
Dixons eventually sent another out but this too has gone missing in transit.

Obviously it is DHLs fault and not dixons, but dixons have been very slow to sort the problem out, and ignored my request for the 2nd ipod to not be shipped by DHL. Very poor customer service.
They have had £205 of my money for a month, and I have nothing to show for it!

Obviously I have been incredibly unlucky for this to happen to me twice, but dixons clearly don't have a good relationship with their delivery company, not a winning formula for an online retailer!!!
Be very aware. My guess it that anything 'small' from dixons gets pinched by DHL drivers.
Rant over. Anybody know what my rights are on this?

Second ipod how now been delcared officially lost by DHL. So getting a refund from dixons and ordering from a company that doesn't use DHL! Not taking the risk a third time.
It was a very good scam for somebody, my guess is a DHL driver (or two!).

I am awaiting delivery from Jessops of a £4 item. It was delayed due to the snow, but now still seems to be with DHL so I am quite interested to read this. No great loss at £4, but I have spent quite a bit of time chasing it already. I wonder if I will ever see it.

With performance like that, I can see why they were a perfect match for Home Delivery Network to buy the DHL parcel division earlier in the month!:p
