replacing bulbs

Hi last year when doing other work our electrician replaced the kitchen light fitting with a centre halogen 3 light fitting we bought from bq.

Now one of the bulbs has gone and I cannot get it out to replace it. It is sort of covered by a chrome shroud thing and I cant get my fingers in between to turn it like a trad bayonet or to screw it - no idea whether bayo or screw fitting.

I went into bq and they said oh yes you need a sucker so i asked if i could buy one - oh no we dont sell them - and then she saw my chin hit the floor so tried to find me one. went to see her boss and came back said no that is what you need but we dont sell them.

thats bq off my list but can anyone give advice as to how to get the bulb out so that i can even find out which one to buy to replace it....

If you do need a sucker, try a local electrical suppliers. they normally have them floating around.

If you can find someone with one of those car engine valve grinding sucker tools, that would probably do the job. As has been said, a picture would be a great help.
I've just remembered that when I recently fitted some IKEA lights for my son, they came with a little sucker device.
I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.

Place two fingers on the bulb and slightly push down and twist, its a doddle just make sure your hands are dry.
