Not sure if this is the right place to post but i'll give it a go anyway.

Went to get some mini items for our trip to Paris in a few months and got one of the "Boots Smile" mini toothpastes at 49p.

Went to the AC machine and there was a 50 points on purchase of any boots smile product.

Took this to the til, expecting to be told it couldn't be used on minis - it wouldn't scan but the SA did put it through manually as it didn't say on the voucher not to be used with minis so I got paid 1p for the toothpaste :T I was pretty pleased even just for 1p

    Hi

Couldn't find any minis from Smile range but I got 3 kid's toothbrushes 6+ £1.49 each, 3 for 2 offer, plus used a voucher 50 points from AS machine so basically paid only £1 for each toothbrush! :j I don't buy Smile toothpastes for children as they seem to be a little bit watery (just my kids' view LOL) but adults Smile toothpaste is nice.

Many thanks! :T I will be looking for those minis in Portsmouth Boots as they are very handy just for holidays or weekends get away! Printed more Smile vouchers from ASM :)

    Hi Everyone

I heard today t(my friends sister works in Boots) that Boots are aware of the Olay gift box glitch.

I'm still going to give it a shot in the Hamilton branch tomorrow:D

Im inclined to agree as all the boxes in Plymouth branch had handwritten stickers with £24.99 (£19.99 with voucher).

However I did managed to use my two £5 off vouchers on the Time Delay Night Serum which was still scanning at £6 so therefore they cost £1 each (Thanks Sandra):T

  • Or are they just for use that in that particular store and on that day ?

I don't often get near an ACM and was going to ask SIL to pop my card in and push all the buttons, and bring them home.

    TIA

No they can be used in any store and they usually have an expiry date which is sometimes the day it is printed or sometimes a couple of weeks ahead. However some Sales assistants will try to tell you otherwise but it is written on Boots website that they can be used in any store.

I wanted to say thankyou to Sandra Scarlett, Flumpster67 and Ruby88
for their donations in 2009 for the Meningitis Trust fundraiser I've been face painting at this evening.
I've just got back and they had raised over £1,000 and still counting when I left.
The organisers were very touched by your donations and the big basket of goodies I did ended up being one of the top raffle prizes of the evening. Also, thankfully, it was a lady who won it in the end!
The contents were a number of Olay products, lip balms and lip glosses, Sanctuary facial products, a number and variety of face masks, various No 7 products, several shampoos and conditioners, Impulse body spray, antiperspirant, Elle The Body Macpherson products, a pack (brand forgotten but in a plastic and hessian gift pack), hair scrunchies, soap, a shower cap, cotton wool and some other things I can't recall now. At the very least there was more than £50 of stuff.

    So, thankyou, thankyou, thankyou!

Obsessing about remortgaging and interest rates all day, every day:)
