Credit Card Reclaiming - Barclaycard

Hi can anyone advise? I made a claim against unfair charges on an old Monument Visa credit card back in July. Barclaycard replied in September Stating: as a goodwill gesture and without admission of liability they are prepared to credit my chosen account with £340. Pls forward bank details. They ended the letter with For the purposes of the Ombudsman you may regard this letter as our "Final Response" and I had 6 mos to refer to the Ombudsman for investigation. I wrote again accepting £340 in partial settlement, gave them my bank details but requested they refund the full amount. Have heard nothing since, maybe I should have accepted the offer, is it too late - any advise please?:(
