Hi downshifter Congratulations on the jobs and it is very heartening to hear this. My dh is employed and is trying so hard to get a different job and so far has not been successful. He is 58 and has worked all his life since leaving school. His job is getting very tiring and he really would like something where he is not getting up at 4.00am every working day and is in bed so early at nights and the workload is with him until 7pm. He feels he just wants his life back. He started out as a delivery driver and got promoted but wears different hats depending on what needs done, all on a set wage. We would take a drop in pay just to have him happier and less tired. He is grateful he has a job don't get me wrong.
