Pay off for Ford car

I was in a rather difficult position just over 2 years ago, as Ford told me that my Ford Probe needed a lot of work and I would be better off letting them have my car for £200 and buying a new one! At the time my son was in the U.S. but phoned me to say not to let my car go as Ford would sell my car at a profit so I took it back from them. Ford talked me into buying a Ford KA as I need transport for work. I only had the car for about two weeks and wanted to return this. I had permission to sell it as they wouldn't have it back, which I did for £4,000.00 but there was a shortfall of £1,000 due to the paperwork that I signed. As I am a pensioner I can only afford to pay this back at £10.00 a month. I have done this now for over two years. Is there anyway I can get out of this and retrieve the money? Any help would be appreciated as my State pension only goes so far weekly and even £10 a month is £10 I could do with!

Hi and welcome
sorry to hear of your issues here and hope this is resolved very soon.
I am not sure on how this works to be honest, but I'm sure someone will be along to post some useful advice for you on this matter soon.
Good luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"
