Opinions Please on WinPatrol

Hi all MSE fans,
I have used WinPatrol free version for some time on my PCs and would like your opinions on
1) WinPatrol and/or
2) If its worth paying approx £20 for the Plus version (lifetime license and all PCs covered)

The fact that this is the Tech board, and none of the usual contributors have answered suggests, like myself, they've never paid it much attention.
My opinion - if you have reasonably good AV, and use a relatively secure browser (I use firefox with adblock plus and noscript) then you really don't need this program....even the free version.
I'm not sure what else it offers that cannot be accessed relatively easily by other means..

I concur with DbE above: simply don't see the need for a paid version; never used the free version either. Avast, Firefox, NoScript, Adblock Plus et al. is more than sufficient for my security needs...:cool:

WinPatrol works great in free version; don't see any need for the paid-for if you're running other security apps.

I like it, but I've developed a soft spot for the little canine after so many years.

Not for me but better than paying $29.95 if you are thinking about it.

License is only valid for a single computer .

Many Thanks DM very curious if you believe in coincidence 29/01 isour (sorry OH)29th wedding anniversary so hey I'll get the OH to pay the 99cents and look for something her to use the $29 saving
