Let's try to figure out the cause of this...
1) Can you post the router statistics please?
2) Are these drops accompanied by a noisy phone line?
3) Is your broadband speed particularly slow?
4) Do you have any additional phones plugged into extension points around your house?
5) If so, do these also have broadband filters attached?
6) Is your hub plugged into the first socket into your home or on an extension?
7) Have you tried a different filter?
8) Have you tried plugging the hub directly into the master socket and thereby eliminating your internal wiring as a cause?

Also consider checking to see if there's an upgraded driver for the wireless card on your PC.
Or re-install the old one.
That fixed a similar problem on my laptop.Gus.0 -
I took the OP's post to mean that the main hub connection was dropping to the internet rather than the computer to the hub, but I guess knowing which it is for sure would be handy0

Good point !
I assumed it was the wireless connection to foxy's computer - because that's the problem I had.
I was convinced it was the Homehub at fault and BT for giving my a !!!! piece of kit - when in fact it was my laptop playing up.Gus.0 -
if your minimum contract has expired call up BT , and ask for new Router to sign up for a new contract .
i rang up with this problem with the black 1.5 home hub and they offered me a shiny new 2.0 homehub ( much superior and with N Wireless) and they even cut my monthly bill as well . signed up for another 12 months there and thenBetter in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:0 -
Have you tried re-setting.
The best place to look for advice is on this forum.

BT whites are some years old now and have been replaced by the near equally annoying black. I would call bt and have them replace it for you. They were desperately inconsistant.Computers are like me, I get up in the morning and work...until I stop.0

Tell BT if they dont send you a new one you will seek another ISP. Shouldnt need to though I have seen several changed for free. BT knows they were not so good.
