Hang on; your accountant didn't request the repayment until about 9th Feb (according to your last post). My "security check" took at least 8 weeks. Methinks a little patience is needed.

Spoke to them again yesterday and apparently they are performing securty checks to make sure i am who i say i am??

This could take up to 2 weeks, but they said they will pay interest of a whole £9 for the inconvenience!!!!

Ha.. £9 is a princely sum.

I've claimed a couple of times. Nearing year end it tends to get a little busier, but my returns have been anything from 4 weeks - 3 months.

Sorry, i probably didnt explain very well.

The claim was originally submitted in Dec last year, and when she phoned to chase them up a couple of weeks ago, they had said that they had accidentally forgotten to process it!

A week later she phoned again, and this was when she was told about the security check.

Oh well, patience it is then.
