I solved the problem! The thing is my hubby's German and he needs to supply one every year to the pension authorities there. They did send a standardised form and I didn't look at it properly at first. I thought I couldn't take a German form to the police or council or whatever for signature. On closer viewing, I saw that each question is actually given in French and English as well as German! Typical German thoroughness!0
