I've lost the little black platic button (from both sides) that fit into the hatchback door of my Vauxhall Vectra and have the strings from the parcel shelf clip onto
I want to get replacements from an online breakers yard but I have no idea what they are called or where I might be able to locate a part number for them. Its not the shelf or the strings but the bits that fit in the hatchback and you then clip the strings onto them like a kind of pop button.
Does anyone know what these are called?

As the two little plastic hooky-type-things that you want are not going to be worth very much, it's probably worth just going into your nearest Vauxhall main dealer and asking them rather than using a breakers yard.
We needed one of those clippy things for the boot of our Ford Focus last year. I had the same quandry of how to describe it, but went into our local Ford dealer, and did my best! We had a bit of a laugh about how to describe it what it was called but they were able to sell me one for a couple of quid and even fitted it for me on the spot (not that it was difficult, but I guess it made sure that it was correctly secure). No trees were killed to send this message, but a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced. - Neil deGrasse Tyson (@neiltyson)0 -

I agree. By the time you've paid the breakers to post them to you as well how much are you going to save? Who's to say they won't weaken them when they remove them?0 -
Ebay? maybe get em there0

On many on-line car parts sites you can click on the part which is shown as an exploded view. There you can get the name of the part or even order it on-line.0

I think if you have scrappy near you go to them in person before you then go on the same day out to your local dealership. The money you save on postage and minimum orders from online/telephone scrappies will pay for them new, I'm sure.0
