Absolutely LOVE it!
Great with cheese or spread over the top of Dairylea - looks gross but tastes yum. Also nice with a bit of Danish Blue.
MMMMM when it oozes out of the bottom of crumpets, delicious!
Not that keen on Marmite sandwhiches unless its with something else, love it on toast, crumpets, pitta breads, muffins etc
Good tip about getting the last bit out of the jar and also about using in a casserole (OH would go mad if he knew as he hates the stuff, I see a challenge coming on hahaha)0 -
Marmite is yummy yummy yummy !
Must buy some more as we've started the spare jar and it never lasts long.
I hate twiglets though. I saw a Mr Bean video where he dipped real twigs in marmite and I reckon is exactly what they taste like !Decluttering, 20 mins / day Jan 2024 2/20 -
love it - I love it in sarnies - and yes, it has to be well buttered white bread! its great for adding flavour to stews and such. oh and my own particular quirk - i like to cut celery into sticks and dip them in marmite - oh the shame - I love BOTH celery and marmite and especially together!0

Love. Particularly fine with a good, coarse cut, bitter marmalade on toast. :drool:If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0

Oh and it's lovely on hot buttered toast with poached or scrambled egg on top0

Marmite is what I would eat if I was severely obese and wanted to punish myself by being put off food forever and ever. On the bright side it's cheaper than bariatric surgery.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!
