Want 0%BT card to fund current account - NOT MBNA one, my options?

Hi.
I'd like to get a 0% balance transfer CC that I could use to fund my current account. I already have Virgin so MBNA card won't be any good, is there any others out there?
I want to do this because I have a loan I want to transfer on CC on 0%. I can pay it within a year, but want to cut the interest out. I already have a Virgin card I did with this couple of months ago and it's 6.9% for life of balance.
Thanks for advice.

You might still be able to get an MBNA card - they are issued by the same bank and can't transfer balances between them at 0% - but you still might get one. Might be worth phoning MBNA up and asking before you apply.
Otherwise I think you need to get an Egg Money card, which allows a positive balance - you can move this positive balance to a current account.
So you get another 0% balance transfer credit card, transfer the 0% balance to Egg Money, and then move the Egg Money positive balance to your current account.
There's an faq on it here: http://www.credit-card-comparison-online.co.uk/faq/0-balance-transfer/transfer-to-current-account.html0 -

Note the Egg Card near the top of the list is different from the Egg Money card dylan's talking about."A child of five could understand this. Fetch me a child of five." - Groucho Marx0 -

Thanks peeps. I'm thinking now about trying for the santander Zero card and Egg Money card. But I've just moved and am not on electoral list in the new place. So far I've only changed my address with HSBC. Could I just leave myself still living in the old address (get on well with the guys there so no promblem getting post etc.) or does it really matter?DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0

Some on here will tell you that this is fraudulent, but I think to guarantee success you would have to wait several months to get on the Electoral Role at your new address (this is pretty crucial to getting a decent line of credit).
I don't see a problem with using your older address for a temporary period - you could have had a mail re-direction service set up until you get settled and Electoral Role registered at your new address.
Good Luck with the applications.0 -
I'm aware this is not really the best way to go about things, but I'd quite like to apply soon and in the last place, I was over 3 years,so it'd be pretty straight forward and when/if I get accepted, I could soon after change my address.
Any other opinions out there? I only moved last weekend (I know this doesn't really make it any better).DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -

If you're relying on a mail redirect to get the card to your new address, be aware that some mail isn't redirected."A child of five could understand this. Fetch me a child of five." - Groucho Marx0 -
No, I used to live in a shared house and still keep in touch with all the housemates (well,as I said, only moved out last weekend) there and it's only two streets away...
Which one should I apply first for? After checking my credit file of course.DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -

If you're wanting to avoid MBNA then the next best on the list I previously posted was the Egg Card."A child of five could understand this. Fetch me a child of five." - Groucho Marx0 -
What I was thinking was getting the Santander Zero card and Egg Money card, so being able to transfer the money to current account. Obviously I'd need to get both for this to work and therefore, which way would it be better to apply for them or at the same time?DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0
