A scoop of two of ice-cream - chopped banana and if I am feel really generous, I melt a cube or two of chocolate and dribble that around the edges - all topped off with a sprinkle of icing sugar.
Its very healthy too. It has banana in it. And calcium (milk), and feel-good endorphines (chocolate).0 -
We buy strawberry sauce, sugar strands and own brand chocolate buttons. As long as you don't go mad with them, it's cheaper than buying the expensive icecream and you can have something slightly different every time. We did try buying an own brand chocolate bar and grating it as it would be cheaper than the buttons but it was just too much faff (but it was tastier).0

I use cones for the kids as they are then satisfied with on;ly one scoop and as a treat I dip the ice cream into 100s and 1000s for them. Also if you look in the supermarket the little 99 flakes are about £1.15 for 16 which is good value compared with the cost of buying a 99 ice and you can bring these out as special treats.“the princess jumped from the tower & she learned that she could fly all along. she never needed those wings.”

Ice cream from Lidl is to be recommended. Lookalike Cornettos work out at 17p each and the Gelatelli choco range (Magnum lookalike) are absolutely lush and on offer at the mo, box of 6 for £1.29.Official DFW Nerd No 096 - Proud to have dealt with my debt!0

two scoops of vanilla ice cream in a glass, some chocolate sauce on top, then fill up with cola.
Had this today for the first time in years, lovely!0 -
My children like their own ice cream sundae's I make them. I use a glass or plastic cup put a couple of scoops of ice cream and use allsorted sauces (they like strawberry & choc) then add chocolate strands, coloured sprinkles/balls. Last time I made these my husband thought we'd been out and I'd brought them for the kids so imagine his suprise when I told him I'd made them. Certainly cheaper than buying from fast food places.:smileyhea:heart: Mrs Lea Nov 5th '11

We call these spiders. I've never been a great fan of them as I find the cola tastes flat. Maybe the secret is to drink it really fast.
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.
