I would like pics in Picasa3 again

Until quite recently, if I right clicked on a picture and scrolled to "Save picture as" it would show a picture file and I would save it. That picture would then appear in Picasa3 and also in My Pictures.

Of late though, they are only going in My Pictures. Maybe you could tell me why and how I can revert back to them appearing in both.

In Picasa go to tools, folder manager and check the settings.
Must admit I've found it not picking up new files from time to time.
I'm running Picasa 3.6

what should I be looking for and how should the settings appear so that any pic is automaticaly saved in picasa 3

and incidently I've just updated it for that face recognition thing which I don't want

seem to have done it. have consulted picasa q/a's, changed something and now succeeded thanks

Each watched folder should be set to always scan.
Haven't looked at the face recognition settings.
