Hi all,
I recently checked my credit file and realized that my Egg credit account shows "settled"on both Experian and Equifax, however I have a £9,000 balance on it and am still making regular monthly payment on time. Also a loan with Barclays shows "settled" on my experian credit report but not with equifax and i'm left with 2 years to clear the loan. Does anyone know what this means? I'm confused.

You sure it's not an older Egg card that's showing? I've got a number of "old" versions of current cards on my report.
If it's not that then it sounds like a glitch - but I'd bet money if you missed a payment with either the card or the loan it would be on your file pretty quickly
