Little help on Barclays questionaire

Hi, trying to claim ppi on a Barclays loan that was settled 6 years ago. No reponse to first letter, but got one from second letter and a questionaire. Has anyone else had one of these questionaires? If so, do you NEED to fill it in? The way I read the letter, they are looking into the complaint and that I will hear a response or update by no later than the 9th Feb. In the mean time, would you mind filling in this questionaire. I basically want to know if the questionaire will affect their decision of whether to pay me or not? Any advise greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Andy

    Hi Andy and welcome,
This is standard procedure, we answered the questionnaire as the best we could and asked them to refer to our original letter and any questions not sure of said they would have information on our records. Hope this helps, this does seem to speed up the procedure if you return, and we won our claim too.
    Best Of luck:TPost up anytime

    Hi Andy

As Donotpassgo have said, complete to the best of your knowledge, and if you cannot remember on some of the questions, tell them to refer to the account from when they sold you the finance.
And with some of the questions write - please refer to my letter dated XX/XX/XXXX you received with my reasons.
These questionnaires are becoming the norm with most banks now.
    Good luck.;)
