Just bought a new laptop after totally wrecking my old one.
I have an iPhone 3GS and want to know the best way of connecting to the new laptop.
When I sync it all of the apps stay on the phone but don't transfer to iTunes. Likewise with music etc.
Not so bothered about the mucic but don't want to have to re-buy apps and I really don't want to lose my contacts, how do I back them up? Where does it save them to?
(I don't have Outlook).

I would have used my own initiative if someone would have told me to!

How bad is the old laptop? You need to copy iTunes folder from old laptop to new one and authorize new machineIt said on the box requires Windows 7 or better, so I bought a MAC0

The old machine is gone. I work in IT and can fix computers but the hard drive is completely dead. (Already had a damaged keyboard and screen).
So if I can't get the folder from the old machine what will I lose?I would have used my own initiative if someone would have told me to!0 -
Have you got any recent backups?Ubuntu is an ancient African word, meaning: 'I can't configure Debian'.0
