NTL Broadband Wireless

Has anyone used wireless router for NTL broadband. I am connecting broadband via NTL Setup-box (not cable modem).

I have seen lot of ADSL wireless routers, but none for NTL.

I used a Linksys BEFW11S4 on a set top box whilst I had NTL broadband
  • I also used a Linksys BEFW11S4 with my NTL Broadband. It worked fine until recently. I now get no internet on my Gericom PC, even though it states that signal strength is "excellent"! Someone mentioned that perhaps the Motherboard of my Laptop may be faulty...could this be indicative of MB failure? :(:(:(
No reliance should be placed on the above.
  • Gericom is my Laptop...Medion is my PC... Fan of Aldi's!

Firstly check your internet/wireless security/proxy settings are correct then go for a spyware remover tool (Spybot S&D, Adaware) then if your on XP try a system restore and see if that helps.
  • Thanks for that; I really don't have an idea where to start! However, what might be a clue is that when I try to connect I get a message telling me I am in "Windows config mode!" Is that bad??
