Direct Debit issue with Virgin CC

Hello!
When I first got a credit card from virgin around a year ago, I filled in all the paperwork to set up a direct debit and sent it to them. However, they did not take a direct debit for the first 2 bills, I have no idea why. I now have a bad credit rating for these non-payments. Is it too late to complain or is there anything I can do? I guess it's worth a try, but was wondering if anyone had any advice on this? :cool:

If it were me, I wouldn't bother. If you had caught this after a couple of months, perhaps worth a punt, however twelve months......
