Have you tinted your eyebrows?

if you don't have the confidence to do it yourself and salons are too expensive, have a look into local colleges that offer beauty courses. I'm getting mine done there next week for £2/30

I too use the Eyelure Dylash 45 day Mascara kit from Superdrug in brown. For the cost of one salon treatment, I can have lovely dark brows for about a year!
As a previous poster has said, I leave it on for about 5 or 6 minutes. I have found that if I leave it for recommended time there is no noticeable difference. You can always find the length of time needed by trial and error. Try a couple of minutes and then if the result is not what you want, re-apply.
I use the little brush which comes with the kit and have no problem with staining of my skin. There is no "regrowth". The colour just fades over time. I find that I do not need to use an eyebrow pencil anymore.
I only dye my eyebrows. I have not tried doing my lashes as I always wear mascara. When I go for a beach holiday, then I splash out and have my lashes done at the salon.0 -
Another tip for eyebrows!! Dye them the day before an event and only leave the dye on for 2 mins max. When you remove it your brows will not seem that much darker, but ignore this and leave it till the next day. They WILL darken more overnight!! I found this to my cost the first time I did it. The brows didn't look any different so I tinted them again. Big mistake LOL. For us blonde ladies, it doesn't look good if your brows are too dark!! :rotfl:
If they still aren't dark enough the next day, just do them again.
pattycake, try doing your lashes as well!! It does make a difference (I wear mascara every day too). Tinting gives me almost a permanent (but subtle!) eyeliner effect for at least a week afterwards, which looks lovely. is so easy, just dampen a cotton bud and wipe around your lash line after applying the dye.

Eeek someone said use blue/black on eyebrows? Not a good idea (unless you have very VERY dark hair!!!) Blue/black is normally used on the eyelashes to give depth!
I have dark brown hair and I used brown dye with a smidgen of black.
Make sure you get right down to the roots too, otherwise it kind of goes 'tie dyed'0 -
I have an allergy to the dye that salons use and that you buy in the shops. I started using swiss o par dye which has different ingredients and find it great on my brows. I haven't had as much success doing my lashes but found that even when I did brave getting a lash and brow dye in a salon, I found that my lashes didn't take very well.If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0
