transfer from i/b to esa dates announced

According to a b&w email a decision has been published as to when who and in what order the transfers from i/b to esa will take place,as my membership of b&w has lapsed i`m being cheeky and asking if anyone has had access to this 130 page report,or anyone who has heard thru other channels what the exact proposals are now they have been decided upon.
cheers
John

  • Yes, I had this e-mail too, but am too tight to pay the membership fee for Benefits and Work. I'd like to know too.

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton

Last thing I'd heard was a pilot was going to run in Oct 2010 to see if the procedures work, with national rollout in February 2011.

Found a little more here :-

Conversion dates will be tied in with the individuals PCA review date. New claims to ESA won't be required. Transitional protection will safeguard those better off on IB (eroded over time). New claims to IB from Feb 2011 will be treated as new claims to ESA, there's no linking.
  • just found the above as well and its worth a read, appears once again that b&w have jumped the gun as transitional arrangements are still subject to discussion upto 8th feb 2010
  • transfer will be your normal review date

Personal Capability Assessment - it was the previous version of the WCA which arrived with ESA - thankfully.

Migration is being planned for in the short term from what I have heard - staffing being arranged etc. so its not far away.
