wow - thats a great price for a newly fitted/filled condenser. My local Renault garage wanted 700+ for the same thing 3 years ago. If it was a Renault dealer who did the work, care to give them a shout.

It was an independent garage, not a main dealer. I'll PM the details to anyone who needs them - they are in the East Midlands. It was roughly £140 for the parts, £100 or so for labour, £60 for re-gassing plus VAT.

I got my fiat back from the local garage yesterday.He charged me £80 inc labour.

Or they can do the job for £50
