Boots Beckton Clearance - worth visiting?

Howdy,

I have to come into London for a training course next week & was thinking of doing a detour to Beckton on my way home. I'm not looking for anything specific but was wondering if it's worth checking out? If it turned out to be rubbish perhaps there might be other stores worth browsing?

Beckton has a great choice of shops, the clearance store has some great offers at times, there is also a next clearance there and a JD sports clearance too so worth a visit maybe

They usually have quite a lot of sanctuary stuff reduced which is good!

If you buy the stuff it's good, but not quite cheap enough (for me) to buy on impulse.

Good deals on baby clothes. Lynx at appx £1.50 per can. FCUK body wash £3. Gilette/Wilkinson Sword disposable razors 3 for £5.

The JD Clearance store isn't worth it IMHO and the next clearance isn't all that cheap - loads of 'odd' bits of suits - jackets that don't match the trousers, etc!

Where in London will you be and where travelling back to? If you're passing, or nearly passing, it's probably worth popping in.

Thanks all. Sanctuary stuff is always good for gifts. I'll be in the city then travelling back towards Cambridge. I'll have a travelcard so it will only cost me my time plus any purchases.

Had an excellent shop in here the other day. I typed out what I'd bought the other day but my internet connect went down!:(
It's quite a small shop but full of great bargains & I spent a lot more than intended. I bought some Sanctuary sugar scrubs & body souffles in the big jars & S&G body butters & flake away, Dead Sea Salts with Rose, Mens microdermabrasion kit, Med body scrubs & washes, Sun gel, Mascaras etc etc.
Very happy, I would definately go back in about 10 yrs when I've used everything up! I need to join the toiletry challenge thread now!
Great shop if you're an unfaithful toiletry tart like myself, enjoy something new & aren't looking for something specific.:j
