Effect on soil
I have chickens and deep litter them on aubiose. During the recent snow I completely cleaned out the chicken house and put down a new bed.
The only problem was I could not take the old bed up to our muck heap so put the waste on my veg plot - about 4 large barrow loads.
What are your thoughts on how this will effect the soil?
We are on heavy clay, I have previously dug in lots of horse manure.
Our main crop is slugs.

I would leave it a couple of months before planting or sowing anything but I think your plants are going to be growing like billy-ho this year. :eek:0
