A lot cheaper, but sadly dont have the cash now, on my catalogue, I can pay next feb and its about £11 a month. Have got a discount of 20% to take off too.. thanksHe who asks is a fool for five minutes, but he who does not ask remains a fool forever.

What you get all depends on what you want to use it for, for basic use a £300 one would do the job.
What is wrong with the old one?!!

I am mainly just a brower person, I would like to have a go at copying my cd's and maybe play a game, but nothing too heavy like WOW I reckon. I like to listen to Spotify regularly
The one I have is as old as mi granny, and even just playing stupid games on facebook makes this shut down, I think it overheats. He who asks is a fool for five minutes, but he who does not ask remains a fool forever.

spotify, browsing, cd copying, and the odd game will play on anything, if you want to play the latest graphical games, then you might need something beefier. Most of the stuff on kays website seem expensive, but if you need to pay weekly then it limits your options.
Have you tried restoring your old laptop to factory condition, most problems are software related.!!

This was given to me by my sister, and she hasnt got anything to restore it. It was given to me to help me out as I didnt have one.
I think what I will do is think overnight and decide if I should click BUY.. I would love a shiny new one, but its such a hard decision to make on my own. I just thought that as I dont need to buy anything for my house, then I could treat myself. But I shouldnt indulge.... thanksHe who asks is a fool for five minutes, but he who does not ask remains a fool forever.

A lot of laptops come with a restore partition, hit a few keys when you boot, and it will put it back to like new condition (software wise), it will wipe all your data in the process.!!

Well, I've slept on it and I still dont know what to do! I'm just thinking that this offer from the catalogue runs out soon, so do I take the plunge?
closed, I am useless with pc's at the best of times and wouldnt know how to restore partitions without !!!!!!ing it up!

If I were you I'd never buy anything from Kays! They are notorious for overpricing PLUS whatever crazy interest they charge on top of that.
Bide your time, save money up and whilst your waiting get hold of a copy of computer shopper magazine and see what they recommend for your budget.
If you're over heating this PC - just take the cover off (unplug and use common sense) and blow all the dust out of every nook n cranny. It should help and will last long enough to not have to buy over priced rubbish from that crapalogue.
