tesco credit card - 500 points?

Hi
My nan got a new tesco credit card in Sept 09 after seeing a promotion offering 500 points just for signing up.
She has rang up many times to ask where the points are and has been told many stories, the latest being that there was not and has never been any such offer. This was also confirmed by a team leader.
I did not see the leaflet myself and my Nan has thrown it away. Does anyone know of any such offer before I write to Tesco H.O.
