Nice/Cheapish London hotels

Hey MSE-ers,

Can anyone recommend any good London hotels? I'm going to look at Martins Cheap Hotel deals page now just thought I'd post here to see if anyone had any ideas.

We are going on 26th March for two nights

For two nights you can get some good deals on IHG group hotels (Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn etc ) using their two for one offer here;

just put London as the location to bring back a variety. If you put a two night stay into that link then the rate you are quoted is half the usual nightly rate (assuming the particular hotel has that particular promotional rate available - it will tell you if it doesn't)

We loved the Premier Inn at Olympia when we stayed last year. Depends on what facilities you want I suppose

we've had good deals on the umi hotel and comfort inn buckingham palace road through latedeals. both decent hotels at a reasonable price

we also loved the kensington olympia premier inn where we got 3 nights in a family room for £147 in october half term. Lovely and clean friendly staff and brilliant location.

Using the above link Park Royal holiday inn is £39.50 per double room, per night including breakfast for the 2 nights you want. It is beside the tube and 20 min journey from there to centre of London. There are more central hotels for £60 per night (not including breakfast) such as Oxford Circus at £75 per room or Kensington Forum is about a mile away from the NH and Science Museums if you want to be within walking distance of these.

Any other suggestions? I am looking for friends who need 5 nights from Thursday 28th Jan??
