I need to buy a used industrial sewing machine less than £250 from a reputable sellar somwhere around Nottinghamshire, domestic sewing machines don't seem to last me so hoping to buy one more durable but as you can read have minimum budget.
I would be grateful for your advice as i need one quite urgent, sorry if it is posted in the wrong forum:)

Do you need a basic machine or an overlock and do you need a table with it?0

Not having seen (or ever searched) for one myself before, I'd go to a sewing machine service shop and ask them if they either sell them or know of companies that do. They are generally the people 'in the know' and you can always ask a few. Its a yellow pages sort of thing, wade through the people in your area, call them up and ask them.
Good luck!0 -
Hi
I found my industrial machine on EBay and went to pick it up (Very Heavy). You should find a decent machine for under 150.00.
Shame you are not nearer to myself as I no longer need mine anymore and the machine has served me well!
I have noticed that Ebay have machines on there regular so you may get a bargain.
Hope this helps0 -
Do you know any sewing factories near you? i only ask cos my sister worked in one and used to get people ringing up about industrial machines , also the people who serviced them sometimes sold them.
Also ask on your local freecyle etc.0 -
