probably got a stipulation in the t & c`s that yo have to go back to the same store to retrieve the free itemTake every day as it comes!!0 -
We think they should become referred to as a BOGOL. Not quite the same as the Monarch of the Glen spelling but should make it easy to remember!0

I think this is a great idea, we bought an iceberg lettuce yesterday and always buy one per week,
so to get next weeks free, when we'd be doing our regular food shop is perfect.0 -
Personally not my kind of offer - On very expensive stuff and normally I buy my lettuce (at least 2 per week) at the market.
Must admit I laughed at the promotional material though - Just had a picture of 3 lettuces on a place with 'serving suggestion' at bottom.0 -
It is still in trial period. I hope they role it out to all products, even non food such as toothpaste etc. I know it will not go off but some of us have limited storage space and you want to buy the stuff to save money but where do you keep it all?
I was in Tesco today to get some wraps for fajitas and they were on buy one get one free. We only have them once a week, if that, and they will be past their best by the time we have it again. I only picked one up looked through the other stuff that was on the same offer but nothing that we either needed or wanted. In the end I got some bagels and have given them to my mum.If you find you are drinking too much give this number a call. 0845 769 75550 -
In the long run Tesco will end up as the winner in this. How many people are going to lose their vouchers for the "later" item or return to store at too late a date to receive their item? I don't disagree that it will cut down on food wastage in some instances but honestly, I don't think Tesco care about that. It's a clever marketing ploy in my opinion
Storck - fajita wraps freeze well, just bung them in the microwave as you normally would when you need them, just for a few seconds longer.:happylove DD July 2011:happyloveAug 13 [STRIKE]£4235.19[/STRIKE] £2550.00 :cool:0
