I just want to say a huge thanks to everyone. I lost this thread ( darn the lack of auto subs, still catches me out!)
I have considered the westminster one, but I used to actually work in that very same building - it does notl have romantic connotations for me
Chivers - love Merton :j looks super duper! Have you any pics I could see elsewhere perhaps
Where is the southwark one?
The Bromley one looks quite nice too :j
some fab ideas - thanks! Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Have a look at the registry office in leatherhead0

I know as an outer borough of London it's probably too far out, but I thought the Havering registry office in Hornchurch was suprisingly nice with lovely gardens for photos. I don't think the interior photos on the website do it justice.Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!0

Bexley any good,

this is the office, but the actual 'marriage' page didn't have photos hence this random link!!:rotfl:Ahahah got my signature removed for claiming MSE thought it was too boring :rotfl:0 -
Wow these two are fantastic!
Have to say for anyone who searches for this later:
Tower hamlets has got to be the least picturesque outside. The screaming smog of the mile end road and a stinking chicken shop opposite
I have walked past Chelsea when a wedding has been on, and Ive not fancied the idea of being literally out on the pavement surrounded by traffic/shoppers/ litter etc. :rotfl::beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

Have a look at this site: https://www.richmond.gov.uk/birth_marriage_and_death.html
They have 23 venues listed for marriages and Richmond's own registry office is 1 Spring Terrace which looks gorgeous (read down the page for marriages and then click on 23 venues and a whole list will pop up).0 -
