Hi gang
Wondering if anyone can give us any tips on the London registrry office scene.
Are there any particularly nice ones?
we are considering a number of venues to take a look at, however if there is a registry office that will do the job for cheaper we will of course consider it!
Any thoughts?

 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

Hi - Chelsea is the popular one, not sure if it is picturesque though. Are there any in Greenwich or on the outskirts ? - ie Surrey way Kew areas. I think I found some in Sussex that looked nice - Sandwich, Guildhall. Looked in favourites but have deleted them now sorry. Westminster looks good though. :TWe got married 17th April 2010 !! A wonderful day with my wonderful husband !! :T0

if you search register office wedding photos online you will start seeing photographers stores of other peoples weddings so then you can see what they are like! some have fancier rooms if its a bigger number of guests so best ones are the ones with open halls and stairways that everyone can use. seem some lovely ones with marble pillars and the like.0

Camden/Westminster & Islington are nice, marble stairs, grand ceremony rooms. Marylebone, Chelsea; smaller - some rooms for less than a dozen guests but equally 'posh' surroundings. Wandsworth is lovely too, nice courtyard type area for pictures. Some on the outskirts also worth considering; Sidcup, Merton, Enfield, Hornchurch etc.
Be on the look out for steps, which are good for group photos, or a nearby park or landmark [London Eye/Bridge etc] for pictures as none of the above central london register offices have a garden as such.Wedding Professional0 -
How about Bromley?
I don't know where you're based but it's handy if you're in South London0 -
Bromley Register office is fine if you use the Mayor's bit [above] the Rose Room on the other hand is not picturesque at all - & although the photos can be taken outside the nice bit and round the back where they have a pond/lake and a columned terrace type frontage this is only possible if the nicer locations are not in use by other couples.Wedding Professional0

Hi Deecy
We'll be in the Old Palace room - will we be okay for photos? This is our only chance to get photos taken as there isn't anywhere at our reception venue. *Worried now!*0 -

Just seen this!
We got married in Merton Registry Office as it is beautiful. Set in a park with a big staircase inside to get photographed on and steps outside that are lovely for pic too.
Ooh, found this with a virtual tour http://www.merton.gov.uk/living/register/registeroffice.htm
