Glass shattered on week old oven.. Rights???

I purchased a Belling oven from Curry's online a week ago.
Was just doing my dinner and heard an almighty crash and the inner glass plane has shattered and gone everywhere.
I've just phoned Curry's and the department that deals with this is conveniently now closed.
What I would like to know is whether I'm well within my rights to ask for a replacement rather than repair. Not sure I want an oven that is liable to explode at any given moment.
Many thanks.

Personally Id get a refund I dont think i'D:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
As you've only had it a week it could be argued that you're within a reasonable time to reject the goods outright, and therefore within your rights to ask for a full refund.0

You're within the 28 day period for refund or exchange, so shouldn't be a problem if you wanted a refund or another oneSquirrel! If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.
Now 20% cooler0
